Gene Chih-Yang Chen (b. 1990, Taiwan) is a Taiwanese visual artist based in London whose practice combines photography, photogrammetry, Gaussian splatting, and printmaking. Working in recursive cycles of erasure and reconstruction, he examines legibility as a site of power: how the processes that render something readable simultaneously transform it. He holds an MA in Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art (2017).
