Selected projects created between 2017-2023. These projects are somehow related to me, enen though they now may not directly contribute to my practice.
Aly 9_Ln 82_Sec 1_Bade Rd
Aly 9, Lane 82, Section 1, Bade Road (2019) is my first series using photogrammetry as a photographic tool. I reconstructed a single street in Taipei where I grew up, a dense stretch of vendors, electronics stores, and restaurants layered with personal memory. The work emerged from an interest in psychogeography: how a place shapes the person who inhabits it, and how that shaping becomes visible when the place is computationally reconstructed and seen from perspectives that were never physically occupied.
Fossils of the Memories
Fossils of the Memories (2019) was created during the Digital Artist Residency in collaboration with jewellery designer Sara Chyan. Using photogrammetry, I reconstructed Sara's handcrafted pieces, objects designed to physically embody personal memories. The resulting digital forms retain the weight and texture of the originals while existing in a space that is neither physical nor entirely virtual. The work was exhibited in Oxford, UK in March 2019.
